Prop One’s so-called gender-based “protections” could prohibit schools from keeping biological males from participating in female sports, forcing girls to compete against boys. This would not only be unfair to girls who will lose sports-based scholarship and notoriety opportunities, but it could also be dangerous.

By destroying the barriers between boys and girls, Prop One would give males a constitutional right to access female-only safe spaces such as bathrooms, locker rooms, dormitories, showers, etc.  Women and girls will no longer have a right to privacy and safety in female-only spaces.  If Prop One passes, it will also lead to the abolition of single-sex spaces for males, too.  No more all-boy schools, clubs, organizations, fraternities, locker rooms, etc.

Prop One’s inclusion of "gender identity" and "gender expression" as protected classes could broaden eligibility for programs aimed at supporting women in education and employment, such as scholarships, grants, and leadership programs, resulting in increased competition for these opportunities, potentially negatively affecting women’s opportunities.
